Cadillac CTS-V coming in RHD The Cadillac CTS-V – we assume in Coupe, Saloon and Estate versions – is being prepared for launch in the UK in right hand drive. One of the good things to come out of General Motors’ financial woes of a few years ago – apart from producing smaller world cars – has been the arrival of the Cadillac CTS-V. The Cadillac CTS-V may not be the biggest seller Cadillac are ever going to produce, but as a halo car to demonstrate just how good Cadillac can be, it’s pretty much unbeatable.

Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 Preview

The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. The new Jaguar F-Type has been declared 2013 World Car Design of the Year at the New York Auto Show this week. We have to confess we moaned about a few details on  the F-Type when it arrived, and about the price. But we soon realised that, rather than being a pricey alternative to a Porsche Boxster, the new Jaguar F-Type was actually a real alternative to the Aston Martin Vantage – turning it in to something of a bargain offering.
